There where chickens in the library. Chickens in capes running around, sitting on piles of books making noises. Lucille had tried to chase them away, but that only made them more persistent. Even reading her novel - which was what she had decided to do after giving up getting rid of them - proved difficult, when she constantly had to push chicken off the pages.

This was a very trying day.
