Anakin wasn't sure if he was entirely grateful that he'd fallen asleep in his office last night if it meant that he woke up to...whatever the heck was going on outside.

Obi-Wan was... simply all a-sigh (if wearing his robe). "As you can tell, there is clearly something going on today, and we do not feel it responsible to keep you in the school for any longer than you need to be," he said. "There have been... noises."

Coming out of the principal's tower. Yeah.

Creepy, creepy noises. "We both have a bad feeling about this," Anakin said ~~because it was contractually obligated for Star Wars people to have bad feelings~~, "so stay as safe as you can, head to the library or the weapons locker if you know how to use a weapon already, and let us know if you'd like either of us to escort you anywhere."

"And if anyone has more of an idea of what is going on than we presently do, please come forward," Obi-Wan said. "That is all."

"Be careful," Anakin admonished. "Actually careful. Not Fandom careful."

There was creepy fog, and the ocean just felt off and wrong and it was like nails on a chalkboard at the back of her brain, and normally Ada would be the first to say 'screw class' and stay in the safety of the dorms because she'd been stabbed by aliens enough, thank you very much.

But she'd woken up to the entire dorm looking like it was suddenly decaying or falling apart, which didn't bode well for continued safety, and she hadn't known where else to go.

So it was a fairly spooked, worried Ada sitting through the whole ten minutes of the lecture, wondering where she should go after this.

It's cool, they get it.

Obi-Wan is looking rather concerned.

Anakin's attention kept wandering towards town. "Everything feels very odd today," he commented, biting his lower lip.

Zoe didn't normally drop into classes, but things were... yes, definitely odd. "Is it wrong of me to hope the noises coming from the tower are something easily dealt with? Possibly a cat-loving person back to haunt us all?"

"I'm not entirely certain," Obi-Wan admitted. "Outside feels... strange."

Anakin nodded vehemently. "And it is that time of the semester for something to go horribly wrong."

Helpful, Anakin.

"The library looked busy when I went by. I don't know if that's a hopeful sign or a negative one, because it means everyone's noticed things that are wrong. I never thought I'd miss those damn squirrels," Zoe said with a sigh. "Are the students in an all right mood?"

"They seem concerned, and I believe they have a right to," Obi-Wan said. "I was planning to return to the library myself soon enough. Have you noticed any indications of what might be happening?"

"The fog's not eating anyone or anything?" Anakin added.

"As far as I'm aware, no one has been reported missing." Who knew that "It's not people-eating fog?" could be considered such a positive sign? "If anything, there seem to be more people around than before."

"Yes, I can sense that," Obi-Wan confirmed. "And many of them feel downright familiar."

Anakin went a little green in the face as he reached out into the Force. "Master Kenobi, how many...of me...do you sense?"

Anakin was getting two.

"... Two," Obi-Wan said.

He sighed.

Anakin groaned. "That can't be good."

"I don't suppose you can sense people who don't have your abilities?" Like, say, a principal who was growing increasingly concerned about the sounds coming from her old home.

"Sometimes," Anakin said. "You're thinking about the tower?"

I am way too relaxed and bespa'd for the world to end.
