Had the most troublesome books been killed by spiders? Or devoured by pumpkins? Or just fainted from fright? In any case Lucille was pleased that the library was quiet and that she could actually do some reshelving without the books themselves interfering. It was a good start of the day, and it put Lucille in a reasonably good mood, which hopefully would result in being helpful should anyone ask for assistance.
