BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge, Saturday morning
After missing a flight due to airport security feeling the need to wand over every single piercing she had, Negasonic was in a bit a mood. Then she saw the glittery banner welcoming all Fandom High students and the portalocity lounge.
Ugh. Glitter.
She dumped her duffel bag on the floor and slumped into a chair. Five seconds later she had her phone out to tweet about what a lousy flight experience she had and how little she was looking forward to going to a new school.
She immediately got a tweet back from Colossus. "Give it a chance."
Ugh. Optimism.
She slunk down in her chair a little farther and hoped the shuttle would get here soon so she could at least be going someplace.

Re: Wait for the shuttle...
From anyone, let's be real here.
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
"Just sit down and breathe in a paper bag," she suggested before turning her attention back to her phone. "Stop freaking out."
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
"I'm not freaking out," he said, voice cracking in a decidedly freaked out fashion. He sucked in a breath like that would help and hissed," I'm not freaking out. I'm not. I just don't know where the hell I am. I know it's not Pandora because nothing is trying to murder me."
So far, Rhys. So far.
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
Not helping there, Negasonic.
"And why would Pandora try to murder you? Listening to Spotify too much?"
Still not helping.
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
"Spotify?"
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
"Forget it. Why is someone trying to murder you?"
This was mostly self-preservation. If anyone was going to try and kill him she might as well know what that was about.
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
Who hated him. So.

"We're in Baltimore," she said very slowly. "You do know where that is, right?"

Okay. Maybe this guy was weirder than she thought.
"How about Earth? Heard of that?"
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
"Not really."
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
"You're on Earth. And there's a lack of murderous bandits. For the most part."
Her tone was more huffy than reassuring.
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
"...so, nothing wants to murder us?"
That assessment was probably pushing it for Baltimore.

Because it was.

"That name a problem for you?" she challenged/questioned.
Re: Wait for the shuttle...
Just saying.
