Driver's Ed, March 15th, period 8

The Danger Shop is set up to look like a somewhat quiet residential neighbourhood. There's a main street that has a traffic light at one of the intersections, and a few side streets. There isn't much other traffic, but a car will pass by here and there. A few pedestrians are also walking along the sidewalk.

"The object of today's class is to get from here," he waves at the general area around where everyone is standing, "to there." He points off into the distance, beyond the traffic lights. "As with last time, the shop will reset itself if anything life-threatening or major-injury-incurring starts to happen."

Duo does pretty well, only needing to reset the Danger Room twice. It's mostly because he's still trying to get the hang of this, "driving slowly" thing. He's got the controls down, like any good pilot would, but he's a bit of a speed freak.

Okay. This couldn't be too difficult, could it?

On her first try, she forgot about the lights and when she saw a car coming towards her, hit the gas instead of the break.

On her second try there were no mishaps, except she still couldn't get a hang of this constant exceleration thing. The car kept slowing down until she remembered that she had to keep her foot on the gas. Gravity and inertia and all that.

And when she got out of the car, her knee was killing her.

Apparently Archie whose player is braindead like whoa tonight forgot that actual cars are not to be driven the same way as bumper cars, given the three consecutive resets, all within seconds of him hitting the gas pedal.

Hey, at least they were three different trees.

Aside from nearly running into a tree or two Broots managed to make it to the other side in one piece. A quick paint job would cover up all signs on the contrary, if the car was real that is.
