MSND Rehearsal, Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. FHT

The lights have been turned on, and the auditorium is ready for rehearsal of acts four and five of Midsummer Night's Dream. Dream paces the aisles of the auditorium, waiting for the cast to show up.

Because the rehearsal might run late, pizza and sodas have been delivered to feed the cast and anyone who wants to watch and mock.

[OOC: PLEASE READ THIS before signing in. Thank you. Also, I'm here until 5:30 and then gone until 9 or so; Rory will be here after 6:30. Try not to break LJ in the intervening hour. Cast list. Outline. Whole play.]

"Hail, courtiers." Parker sat down on the edge of the stage, glad that Lee isn't here yet. Or possibly, at all? It's not like the *last* rehearsal went so well.

Xander, clad in a still-slightly-glitterated shirt care of Nadia's prop-testing in Shop today, dropped down beside them to wait for the others. "Hey, Queenie. And fairies of all shapes and sizes."

{And then he disappearinated for commute home...}

"Hi, everybody," Molly said.

Parker tipped Xander a smirk, and drawled, "Bottom, light of my eyes. Etcetera. Et so on. Ready for this?"

Then she smiled at Molly and Lana. "Right. Are you guys off -book yet?"

"Oh, yeah," Molly said with a dismissive gesture. "I have less than ten words. I knew my part the first day I got the script." She grinned at Parker.

"Same here," Lana said. "At least for the fairy stuff. I have a little more as Snout, but still..."

"I figured, but had to ask. I'm ready; what do you guys want to practice? Begin at the beginning? Or more dancing? And no one has said what we have to sing, yet," Parker said, sighing.

"We should probably just start at the beginning and run it straight through," Lana said. "I don't think we've done that yet."

"I agree," Molly said, nodding.

"Makes sense," Allie agreed.

"Lady queen, provider of the good dry oats..." Xander snickered. "Ready as I'll ever be, I guess."

{zomg just got home. *cries at supermarket, people, and world*}

"Works. Ladies? Places!" Parker grinned, and sat down on the couch, and patted the seat next to her, smirking at Xander. "Come, sit thee down upon this flowery bed, while I thy amiable cheeks do coy." She beckoned him with one finger, and started to really hit the Titania attitude. "And stick musk-roses in thy sleek smooth head, and kiss thy fair large ears, my gentle joy." Okay, maybe she was smirking on that bit.

Xander sat next to her on the couch. And leaned his head on her shoulder.

And said "AWHHHHHH-EEEEEH?"

Parker gave him a stoney glare. Then cracked up.

"I hate you."

Xander made as if he was going to get up. "Ah, my work here is done!"

Parker grabbed him and yanked him back down next to her. "Sit down and say the lines, not-so-smart-ass. If I have to suffer, you have to too. You make me laugh again, and I hurt you!"

Xander frowned sadly. "For normal people, that would be the stick, not the carrot, huh."

Parker blinked at him, then slowly grinned. "Xander? I won't wear leather and order you around on-stage wearing harem bells on Saturday, unless we get this rehearsed. And yes. There might be handcuffs. And yes, that lack of dominatrix gear is the stick, if you insist on it."

Lana came over and sat down tiredly. "Hey, everyone."

Blair plopped down and grinned. "Hi guys!"

"Lysander. You ready for this, Sandburg?" Parker's in a mostly mild mood, but her eyes still narrow, remembering the bouncy taunting from Monday.

"Totally!" Blair grinned at Parker. "Molly helped me rehearse the other night and besides a few mistakes, I did good."

"So how you doing today, Parker? Being...you know..." He leaned close and whispered, "sweet?"

After things he could have no idea about -- Marty's taunting, and Zero's comments-- that was probably a big mistake on Blair's part.

"Sandburg." Deadly voice. "We do not Appreciate the Insolence." Parker straightened, and leaned in, teeth showing in a snarl. "Go thy ways, Lysander. This is thy only warning."

"Oh look. Someone's calling me...over there." Sandburg pointed in a vague direction and took off running.
