MSND Rehearsal, Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. FHT

The lights have been turned on, and the auditorium is ready for rehearsal of acts four and five of Midsummer Night's Dream. Dream paces the aisles of the auditorium, waiting for the cast to show up.

Because the rehearsal might run late, pizza and sodas have been delivered to feed the cast and anyone who wants to watch and mock.

Titania and fairies wait on Bottom as he continues to pontificate like the ass he appears to be until Oberon awakens Titania and leads her off (after having tricked her into giving up her Indian boy while she is enchanted). Theseus and company, hunting, come into the woods. The plots are revealed, and the world returns to its natural order with the exit of the fairies and the reentrance of the city’s ruler.

Everyone is married, and they receive their entertainment from Bottom and company. Theseus teaches Hippolyta to appreciate the world of the imagination, implicitly condoning the lovers’ behavior in the woods.
