Study Hall -- Wednesday, September 14th
Welcome to Wednesday's study hall, kids. You'll be happy to know that the gremlin infestation in the study hall has moved on, but unhappy to find out that they've moved onto the cafeteria.
Today's lunch special is chicken. At least, that's what the cafeteria staff told me it was.
A few announcements:
-- An open house for parents is tentatively scheduled for the last weekend in October. All parents, guardians, legal representation, police escorts, and responsible deities may attend, under another RP journal or your own.
-- A suggestion box has been placed outside my office. To the person who already left the note with a question about having as our school mascot a game cock ... no, I don't think Lee has the time for that. Please quit teasing him before I finda fabulous gay teenage-boy orgy in the utility closet a crying Adama in my office. (OOC: For the record, I was kind of thinking the suggestion box could be there for any high-school type stuff we could do. :))

He sits at a desk far away from anyone, unrolls the papers, and begins intently studying them while making the occasional note on a pad on the desk.

He notices John sitting by his lonesome and walks over to him.
"You seem to be a quiet one. Does nobody play with principal's kid?"

You don't think the cafetaria mistook the gremlins for chicken, now? I'm terribly allergic for food that contains gremlin 0.o

[ OOC: She's trying very hard not to think about what she did do (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/32654.html), and what she almost did (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/31364.html?thread=614020#t614020). Lee managed to not interact with River, which is perhaps the only reason why he didn't get ravished. By River, at least. *gives

"Excuse me. River? That's your name, right?" Without waiting to be asked, Parker sits down opposite her. "Mind telling me what that was about last night?"

Nice knife. Where's it from?
::draws own boot-knife and lays it on the table for comparison::
I think we have Biology and that weird myth class together. You said something about poisoning. Are posioners respected here Most places, they're subject to summary execution, like slavers.

Choosing a seat near the back where she could watch the other students, she pulled out her Sociology text and considered her homework.

Has anyone seen Edward (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=alchemic_bean) this morning? I need to talk with him about my room.

Lenny Briscoe walks into the room rolling his eyes at the voice.
"All right. Listen up kids. There's been a rash of cases regarding missing students lately. This one in particular:"
