Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Gosh, the summer picnic was so much nicer--and warmer--than the spring one. There were tables and chairs set up in the sun and the shade, and more than enough food for everyone. Hopefully, everyone was up for socializing for a while!

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Thank fuck b'cause I was thinkin' the cold and wet ain't never gonna end," Ada said, basking in the spot of sunshine she'd found. "I ain't never gonna like the East Coast."

Ringo laughed, stretching her own arms out and tilting her face upward. "I hope it's finally actually summer, and it's not going to just get cold again."

She turned to Ada. "Is it different in other parts of the country?" Because Ringo hadn't actually seen much of the US.

"Th' carnival is based outta our ranch in Arizona," Ada said, "--an' we tour the south and midwest during the spring and summer, and into early fall, for the most part. Hot and dry, until we hit the Mississippi River, then hot and humid."

Yes. Because cold and miserable was no good.

"Everything's better than cold and wet," Ringo laughed. "Even snow." Which was cold and wet, Ringo.
