Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Gosh, the summer picnic was so much nicer--and warmer--than the spring one. There were tables and chairs set up in the sun and the shade, and more than enough food for everyone. Hopefully, everyone was up for socializing for a while!

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Awww. She cared.

Dante took the plate gladly. "Nice seeing you too," he said. "'Bad boy people want to bang' shit or 'Go home, you're not getting laid' shit?"

It was an important question.

It was a lot easier to show you cared with pizza, booze, or porn than actual words.

"The latter," she told him. "Lucky for you, I can stick around and see if the former makes a comeback."

And this was why Dante lovingly referred to Isabela as his sex soulmate. She got him! And his unhealthy coping methods!

(For some measure of 'got' that translated to 'enabling', anyway.)

He pulled a face, then shoved some of the pizza in it. After swallowing, he said, "You're making a great case for the former. Gotta get my game back up."

Was it really enabling when Isabela's were just as unhealthy?

"How else are we supposed to properly scope out the new kids?" Because that was totally the only reason she was providing him with food and encouragement. Yes. That.

"There's a couple of hot ones and a couple of weird ones," Dante mused. "And I think I spotted one that's kind of in the middle?"

Sorry, Ahsoka.

"The orange one? I approve of her clothing choices." Sorry, Ahsoka.

"I'm supposed show the little green one how things work around here. I don't think she was expecting to be here any more than I was last year."

"I'd be really surprised if even half of them knew they were supposed to be here," Dante said, shrugging. "That just seems to be how this place works."

"I suppose it'd be hard to get student if they knew what they were in for," Isabela said. "Easier to trick them."

"And then by the time they realize what's up, they're already attached to the place," Dante mused. "Sneaky."

"It seems the kind of thing this place would do."

"Better for us," Dante decided. "Not all the hot ones leave."

The way his last few weeks had been, he was not above swinging right back here to hit on Isabela again if none of the more attractive new people seemed up for a one-night stand.

For her part, Isabela was happy to be hit on.

"Some hotness is eternal," she agreed. "You always know where to find me."

"Awww," Dante said. He dropped his head back and finally managed an honest-to-goodness dirty grin. "You know? It's been too long. We should catch up."

Naked.

By now, the naked went without saying.

"We should, I can show you the picture I meant to send you while on the mainland."

Some of them were truly inspiring.

See, he was getting back into the spirit already. "Awww, you took pictures?" Dante said. "Okay, now I definitely have to come by."

Pretty much could append 'in bed' to anything in this conversation.

How did his narrative guess where she'd taken the pictures? Oh, right because it was Isabela.

"I'm sure it'll be worth your time."

"I'll even bring the condoms."

It wasn't like anybody in this conversation didn't know what it was about.

Or anybody who'd been paying the slightest bit of attention.

"That's just good manners."

"If you bring the rum," Dante added, smirking.

Well, that was one way to get rid of the hangover.

"I think I can handle that," Isabela said. "Among other things."

"It's a date," Dante said, smirking at her. "I'll let you know if I'm free tonight or tomorrow."

Isabela smirked right back. "Their loss if you are tonight."
