Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Gosh, the summer picnic was so much nicer--and warmer--than the spring one. There were tables and chairs set up in the sun and the shade, and more than enough food for everyone. Hopefully, everyone was up for socializing for a while!

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Yeah, Tip was still in the "meeting people from other universes" being weird stage. She grabbed a plate food -- a large plate of food -- and found a spot to tuck in and observe her new fellow classmates.

It was still so weird to see big, impressive, old architecture without giant holes in it.

"You're new, right?" Mara asked, approaching.

"Just got here this morning," Tip confirmed. "Guess it's a pretty small school, huh?"

Mara nodded. "Yes," she admitted. "I cam from a city with a few billion people. This was a change. I'm Mara."

"A big change," Tip agreed. "I thought it was tough going from a city of maybe a couple hundred thousand to a small suburb. I'm Gratuity. Are you from . . . India?"

India was majorly dense, populationwise, but she wasn't sure it actually went up into the billions in the cities.

Mara shook her head. "Imperial Center," she said. "The entire planet is a city."

Because that made sense.
