Practical Phys Ed, Monday, Period 3

The shop was a theater today, but things were a little weird. For one thing, there were lights around the perimeter of the theater. Would that be for laps later? Of course.

"Baseball's been going for a week, so screw it, it's time for a baseball movie. Today we have The Natural, which is a baseball movie from two decades before you were born, based on a book from five decades before you were born, but you're going to shut up and love it."

The story of a baseball prospect who was shot when he was coming up and then made his major league debut when he was in his mid-30s.

I think. I have never seen this movie.

Rey was feeling some pressure to like this movie. She wasn't sure how she felt about that.

But it wasn't a bad movie.

Who could sell peanuts or Cracker Jacks, if she had thought ahead about making a small profit in concessions during a surprise movie.

I'm sorry, did you mean 'eat the peanuts, or throw them at people'? Because that's what Isabela would ahve been more likely to do.

You just need to do one lap, but it has to be in slow motion and the lights above you are going to be exploding and raining sparks and shards of glass on you.

They're not real! You won't be cut or set ablaze!
