When the students arrived to class today, they'd find the dummies set up as usual, along with all of the weapons they'd already discussed - knives, swords, clubs, sticks, etc.

"Hey guys. Those of you who have been here for a while probably recognize what kind of... er, situation we're dealing with in town right now. If you're new, I apologize for any possibly unwanted feelings the island's hormones are giving you. I wasn't sure how focused everyone would be today, and I thought some of you may have some tension you want to release, so we're going to call this a general practice day. Please don't abuse the Danger Shop's mechanisms, and try to stay safe, okay?"

Skaar wasn't being affected by the pollen. His physiology was alien and enhanced, and he had a healing factor that kept him safe from the weirder affects of the pollen.

So when he chopped the living crap out of a dummy with a sword, that was just Skaar being himself.
