Practical Phys Ed, Monday, Period 3

The Danger Shop was set up to look like a movie theater, because this was a serious gym class, people. "Guess who has a hangover. Do it quietly. Write it down or something. Qui. Et. Ly. If you answered 'Coach,' then congrats, you got an A on the pop quiz. So anyway you're gonna watch a movie and I'm gonna pretend I'm awake and not wearing sunglasses and noise cancelling headphones so I can sleep. Okay?"

"The movie is about a dumb French guy who decided to take the most insane way to cross between two buildings. He lives in a world where jetboots aren't freely available, so sucks to be him, especially since he can't figure out how to do it at the plaza level. Anyway, there's a way better documentary about this, and the only reason for this movie to exist is the 3D. Grab some glasses and have fun with that. Or stare at the screen and wonder why things are all fuzzy. And how does this tie into the class topic? Don't do that crap. Impractical."

After Fred's short speech semi-justifying the experience. I haven't seen The Walk, but every review I read plus common sense are represented by Fred's opinion's about the quality and the only justification for not just watching the documentary instead.

The 3D gave Ringo a mild headache because the attempt to fake three dimensions visually didn't match up with all the extra three-dimensional sensory stuff the labs had put into her brain, but she still watched the movie. Because, wow that looked like an awesome thing to try with AirTrek.

(Funny how most things looked like they'd be more awesome with AirTrek.)

Rey had never seen a movie. She wasn't quite sure about this one, but still, movies themselves were apparently interesting!
