Paleontology, March 13th (7th period)

"Afternoon, everyone." Tommy says to his class. "I hope you had a good break. I spent most of mine back in Reefside, dealing with a wormhole-related problem. Fortunately for you, I'm back, and thanks to my little spring break adventure, I've acquired a particularily expensive piece of equipment that normal high schools don't typically have. It pays to have former evil masterminds who are also ridiculously rich as friends. So today- I hope you all remember those fossils you dug out a few weeks ago? Today, we're going to take samples and prepare them for analysis."

Dinosaur cookies! Janet signed in and grabbed cookies gleefully.

But, um, in a serious kind of way. Because she didn't stage a way paraphrased, omg dinosaur cookie rendition of one Titania and Oberon's scenes since she wasn't in the play.

YAY DINOSAUR COOKIES.

Rory didn't write that, of course. She just signed her name in a very dignified way, and took a few cookies.

Molly signed in and took a cookie.

Kawalsky signed in sluggishly and took a cookie. His second wind was gone and he was fading fast. If only he could get through this class, he'd be home free.

Sharon signs in, totally not late due to work on Monday being a crapshoot and then running errands gleeful about the cookies. She's even been smart and brought a bottle of milk to eat them with. That's Cylon logic for ya, man.

Janet started prepping the sample.

She didn't mention just how much she wanted to play with the expensive equipment. But she did look around to see what it was and if it was sitting in the classroom.

Rory began quietly preparing her sample.

And in RorySpeak, that means she poked at it a little and read her textbook.

Molly carefully prepared her sample for analysis.

Kawalsky fell asleep. D'oh!

Preparing her sample for analysis, Sharon tried to remember if she'd read anything on the equipment, not to mention that she was wondering how it compared to colonial technology. Phones crossed, after all. Spaceships didn't.
