School Auditorium: MSND Rehearsal (1-5 p.m. FST)

All members of the production got an email this morning telling them to report to the auditorium at 1 p.m. EST to rehearse acts I and II and the "extra" bits of the play. When they gather, they will find Dream sitting on the bare stage, looking rather impatient.

"You are here to rehearse the play. I believe you can manage that. If you are playing the Tooth Fairy,
Steve Austin, Jaime Sommers, Lobster, Drunken Pirate, Kickass Ninja or Chuck Norris, please report to the orchestra pit to discuss your roles with me. Otherwise, read through Acts I and II in their entirety."

That said, Dream moves to the orchestra pit and takes a seat. He may be waiting for the student directors to join him.

Nadia curtseyed slightly. "Thank you, fair Lysander. It's the thought that counts."

Blair tilted his head. "Do I count as fair? Maybe you should call me hunky Lysander...or strikingly handsome Lysander? I need to get that leg up on Demetrius!"

"'Strikingly handsome' isn't very Shakespeare-ish, I don't think," Nadia said. "And neither is 'hunky'. But Lysander is way better than Demetrius already, so you don't have anything to worry about."

"Hmmm...I might have to come up with a compliment that's more Shakesperean." Blair grinned. "Good, I'm glad you think so. I was worried that my Lysander came off a bit ~~short~~ dorky."

"Nonono." Nadia tilted her head. "Besides, I like dorky."

Then she blushed.

Blair grinned and blushed. "Really? That's...cool."

"So," Nadia said, looking for a change of subject. "Where's Demetrius?"

"Logan?" Blair looked around. "I'm not sure, but I just got here. Was he here earlier?"

"I haven't seen him."

"Me either." Blair shuffled his feet a little and flailed for a topic of conversation.

"So...um..bears?"

"Bears!" agreed Nadia. "They're . . . furry."

"Yup!" Blair nodded and made a scary face. "And grrrr..."

Nadia hooked her fingers into claws. "Argggghhh."

Blair clawed back at her for a minute, grinning.

"So...you excited about classes starting again?" He kicked himself mentally. Why was it always so hard to talk to Nadia?

"As long as the shop doesn't go crazy again and try to kill us, yeah." Nadia shrugged. "But I could live without Chemistry. Um, you?"

"Good luck on that shop thing. I'm excited to see how I did on midterms, plus I like classes."

"So do you need help in Chemistry or anything? I've been trying to get a tutoring program off the ground."

"I don't know, I guess so. I just can't seem to concentrate on it."

Why did she always feel dumb when she was talking to Blair?"

"I'd be happy to help you with it. I'm sure you know the material, maybe you just don't see it as being fun!" Blair grinned and bounced. "I could come up with a couple ideas and we could do some experiments after class or something!"

He paused and looked down at the floor. "Or I could find another tutor for you if you'd like. Whatever."

"No, that would be good. Experiments might make it more interesting, I guess."

Blair leaned closer and whispered, "We could blow up things! You'll see, you'll love chemistry!"

"Oo! You can help Marty and I with our art project!"

"Art project?"

"We're going to blow up a shack full of stuff," Nadia whispered, because Dream might not actually approve of destruction of property for the sake of art. "For the sake of art."

Blair blinked slowly. "That. Is. Awesome."

He bounced and grinned. "You know what, you could so use chemistry to blow it up too. It's like for two classes then!"

"That's a great idea!" Nadia grinned. "Marty found a shack to use already, and we're going to go looking for stuff to put in it soon. You want to come with us, or just wait for the Chemistry part?"
