School Auditorium: MSND Rehearsal (1-5 p.m. FST)

All members of the production got an email this morning telling them to report to the auditorium at 1 p.m. EST to rehearse acts I and II and the "extra" bits of the play. When they gather, they will find Dream sitting on the bare stage, looking rather impatient.

"You are here to rehearse the play. I believe you can manage that. If you are playing the Tooth Fairy,
Steve Austin, Jaime Sommers, Lobster, Drunken Pirate, Kickass Ninja or Chuck Norris, please report to the orchestra pit to discuss your roles with me. Otherwise, read through Acts I and II in their entirety."

That said, Dream moves to the orchestra pit and takes a seat. He may be waiting for the student directors to join him.

Blair clawed back at her for a minute, grinning.

"So...you excited about classes starting again?" He kicked himself mentally. Why was it always so hard to talk to Nadia?

"As long as the shop doesn't go crazy again and try to kill us, yeah." Nadia shrugged. "But I could live without Chemistry. Um, you?"

"Good luck on that shop thing. I'm excited to see how I did on midterms, plus I like classes."

"So do you need help in Chemistry or anything? I've been trying to get a tutoring program off the ground."

"I don't know, I guess so. I just can't seem to concentrate on it."

Why did she always feel dumb when she was talking to Blair?"

"I'd be happy to help you with it. I'm sure you know the material, maybe you just don't see it as being fun!" Blair grinned and bounced. "I could come up with a couple ideas and we could do some experiments after class or something!"

He paused and looked down at the floor. "Or I could find another tutor for you if you'd like. Whatever."

"No, that would be good. Experiments might make it more interesting, I guess."

Blair leaned closer and whispered, "We could blow up things! You'll see, you'll love chemistry!"

"Oo! You can help Marty and I with our art project!"

"Art project?"

"We're going to blow up a shack full of stuff," Nadia whispered, because Dream might not actually approve of destruction of property for the sake of art. "For the sake of art."

Blair blinked slowly. "That. Is. Awesome."

He bounced and grinned. "You know what, you could so use chemistry to blow it up too. It's like for two classes then!"

"That's a great idea!" Nadia grinned. "Marty found a shack to use already, and we're going to go looking for stuff to put in it soon. You want to come with us, or just wait for the Chemistry part?"

"Are you kidding me? I'm so in!" Blair bounced again. "So what kind of stuff are wanting to put in it?"

Nadia blinked. "I don't know, stuff. Maybe we'll see about getting donations?"

"That's a good idea. It seems sort of wasteful to spend money on stuff just to blow it up."

"Definitely. And if we get stuff from everyone, then it can be a very representational art project."

"Diversity! That's a big concept in art!"

"I guess so. We got the idea at the Tate Modern."

"Cool. I didn't go put I saw a brochure in the lobby of the hotel."

"It was very interesting. But I wasn't certain why a large pile of white boxes was considered art."

Blair thought for a moment. "I really think that it's meant to invoke a sense of mystery as to what's in the boxes and what's in our souls. Yet, all the boxes are the same signifying that in part, all humans are the same."

"Or it could just be white boxes."

Nadia giggled. She'd been giggling on and off all day, why should that change now?

"What's in our souls? Wow. I never would have thought of that."

Blair laughed a little. "I'm really good at finding the purpose or reason behind things. Or just making stuff up. I'm really good at that."

"That's a very important skill!"

"It really is. And I'm getting better about coming up with names. Go ahead, ask me what my spy name is!"
