Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.

All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Isabela could guess, yes, but it seem crass to shout 'look at the apostate'.

"People in general don't like being locked up." Not that she'd know anything about that. Ahem. "Mages aren't any different on that front."

"Not too different at all, no," Anders nodded. Then, because he wanted to avoid going off on a rant for the moment: "So -- not to completely change the subject -- you might like it here, if you stick around. The people are strange, but kind."

"They do seem on the sweeter side." Isabela's big sib and roommate alike were both tiny and adorable. "Which makes it awkward to ask were a girl can get an actual drink."

Pirate had needs, and Ezra was only going to scratch one of those.

"There's a place in town called Caritas," Anders told her. "Not bad, though the band's a bit creepy. But I usually go off the island and drink in Baltimore -- it's the nearest city. I start to feel too cooped up if I never leave."

Isabela smirked. "And what happens off the island is less likely to get you in trouble on it?"

"I would never get in trouble," Anders protested, eyes sparkling. "But hypothetically, if I was ... yes."

"I just so happen to know a lot about never getting into trouble," Isabela said, grinning broadly.

"I knew it," Anders teased. "When I spotted you, I thought, 'now there is a girl who never gave anyone a moment's trouble in her life.' It's all over your face."
