Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.

All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Elsa!" Anders grinned. "I'm happy school's starting up again, I can say that much. Were you home for the summer or just turned into a polar bear again?"

He'd finish what was on hisplate through sheer hard work and dedication. And possibly some sharing.

"Home for the summer," Elsa laughed, because yes, a polar bear was also a completely reasonable possibility around here. She'd almost forgotten after a few months in Arendelle. In quiet, quiet Arendelle. "It's just as... home... as it's ever been. I'm happy to be back, I think, though I'll likely be reconsidering that the next time the island turns me into a boy or something."

Ah, Fandom.

"I hope you get a few weeks before that happens," Anders said, then reconsidered. "... and that's a very Fandom sentence, isn't it? In other places not turning into things is rather the default."

"Generally," Elsa agreed, not even bothering to try to hide her amusement. "But a few weeks to settle back in again would be appreciated. I imagine the island might think differently, though. Especially since I went several months without, and there are plenty of new students here who are by Fandom's standards all in need of... what's the word? Hazing?"

"You're right," Anders sighed. "Give it a few days, and we'll all be ponies, or breathing fire, or ponies who breathe fire. Just to shake out the weak."

"... I suppose, if nothing else, at least fire is something I can deal with," Elsa hedged, deciding to try this new thing called 'looking at the bright side.' "With any luck, we won't burn down the dorms. Or stables."

"Which is good," Anders nodded. "Especially because I'm not sure the school has any stables."

"I think the dorms do, though," Elsa offered. "And if not, there's at least the Gig in town."

A pause.

"The island might even be contrary and just turn all the buildings into stables, for that matter."

Anders was fabulously observant sometimes, yes.

"And thanks for that. Now I'm half afraid I'll wake up in a pile of hay," he added. "Also,now I wonder where Pinkie Pie sleeps."
