Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.

All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

That was so cool! Dipper was officially on April's 'interesting' list. Not that many people made it to the other side of the list.

"You know, I have this theory that summer is just weirder and more magical than the rest of the year," April said thoughtfully. "I see you your gnomes, shapeshifters, zombies and psychics and raise you Greek gods, river monsters, secret caves full of puzzles and mysterious blizzards when it's 80 degrees."

And April was totally onboard the weird-life-experiences train with Dipper.

"Oooo. That is weird," Dipper said nodding enthusiastically. "Wait... was the greek god fat and a rock singer? We had one of those too. Gravity Falls tended to bring out the strange. Where did you run into all your stuff?"

"No, she was a teenage hipster and flipping gorgeous," April sighed. Diane/Artemis probably would have been less infuriating if she had been a fat rock singer. "I met her and all that other stuff at camp. Have you ever heard of the Lumberjane scouts? That place also kinda brings out the strange."
