Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.

All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"We can share!" Alluka said more firmly. "And, and if we run out, then we can go get more to share."

She looked at Elsa hopefully.

Had she done that right?

She had! Elsa smiled her approval at Alluka, and then nodded her agreement.

"That sounds like a lovely idea," she decided. "What do you recommend I try first?"

"Um."

That was a good question. The answer of 'all of it!' didn't work here.

"These," she said, pointing to what looked like chocolate truffle-things. "They've got a soft, fruity inside!"

"Oh, those sound wonderful, thanks," Elsa replied, and then contemplated the truffle things for a few seconds before deciding that maybe she could pull her glove off for possibly a couple of seconds, if it meant putting chocolate into her face.

She should have worn the bracelets that Barry had made for her, but leaving Arendelle had meant wearing her gloves, if only because they were less conspicuous after a lifetime of wearing them. But it said a lot that she was considering taking them off at all.

"And which kind of fruit do you like best?"

Alluka devoted herself to eating chocolate cake, so she wasn't really paying attention to Elsa's dilemma with the gloves and the chocolate.

"Ummmmmm." Alluka had to think about that. "I like most kinds," she admitted. "But raspberry makes the best jam and strawberries taste best in chocolate and oranges are better cold."

"Oh, strawberries in chocolate are my favourite," Elsa decided, quickly plucking one of the truffles from the plate in her bare fingers. "You've got excellent taste in fruit, Alluka."

"Kathy thinks I don't eat enough," she shared.

And Kathy was right, because Alluka really didn't.

"But I do like fruit. It's tasty."

"Maybe we'll have to..." Elsa needed to take a moment to sort of just close her eyes and savor the chocolate in her mouth. Please hold.

Oh. Oh, that was good.

"... Have to do some taste-testing," she finished, once she had recovered. "There are plenty of different kinds of fruit on the table. Some that I've never even seen before. Trying every kind would be something like an adventure, don't you think?"

A taste adventure. Because Elsa could imagine why it was that Kathy thought Alluka was on her way to undernourishment, looking at that plate.

If Killua could literally eat millions of dollars worth of chocolate in two years and be healthy, Alluka was probably going to be okay.

Or something.

"I do like adventures," she said, bobbing her head. "And we could always have chocolate in-between."

Elsa was never going to say no to chocolate.

"We could! Or we could even see which fruits taste better when you eat them with the chocolate."

So long as they were getting the fruit into them in the first place, right? It still counted?
