Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.

All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Okay!" she chirped.

This was going to end in disaster.

"Caritas, not the other one. What's the other one called? Why can't I go to it?"

"The Devil's Nest." Face, stop helping. "They don't serve students."

Alluka had a quick, wordless conversation with her bunny, where her bunny nodded twice, flailed once, and then she nodded.

"Do you think they'd serve my bunny?"

What? Her bunny wasn't a student!

"You could try," Face said thoughtfully. "But they might suspect your bunny was buying it for you."

"Well, he would be," she admitted shamelessly, "but only so I could give it to the squirrels."

Like Face knew shame. "They'd probably think the squirrels could get it themselves then. Unfair, but true."

"That's super unfair!" she protested, then giggled, since there was still the other bar, like he'd said. "But, I guess, if they want to be boring about it, they can be."

She still thought it was silly, but then she was the one that wanted rum to trade for glitter.

"Apparently Caritas is more interesting anyway," Face said. "At least according to what the squirrels tell me."

"You've never been there?" she asked. "Did you want to go together?"

"Oh, I've been to Caritas," Face clarified. "Just not the other one."

Alluka blinked.

"Oh! Then we can go to the other one, if you want!"

Was she trying to be friendly? Was she just terribly confused?

The answer was both of those.

That's okay, Face was headed towards friendly confused too.

"Much as I'd love to spend an evening at a bar with you, I think my girlfriend might get jealous if I did." Shh, don't tell Cassandra he'd called her that.
