Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.

All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

She miiiiight rethink that if she knew that they were essentially angels in the form of man with the purpose of guiding the peoples of Middle Earth toward a time without the Great Adversary.

But. You know. Cultural differences.

"It appears the island may have a will of its own," Cassandra observed. "It may let you through when it decides the time is right."

"And just how would an island decide that?" Thorin asked, tone going wry and amused.

"Do not ask me," Cassandra said. "I have researched the island's magic for some time, but I have yet to find any answers."

It annoyed her.

"Until such time, I will continue my efforts to return to my home." And then promptly deal with a dragon.

"If you need anything, please ask," Cassandra said. "My circumstances did not allow me to bring back any of the substances the mages were using--" Because she had threatened them at swordpoint, again-- "But I may be able to be of some assistance."

"You have my thanks," Thorin replied sincerely. "I only hope my family has not given me up for lost."

"You are a steadfast and hardy dwarf, Thorin," Cassandra said. "Surely your family will be aware of this."

With a genetic predisposition for a little bit of crazy.

"There are many dangers that still roam our lands," he replied. Not mentioning he was considered super young still. Because that was apparently weird for men. "But I will return to them soon enough."

The important thing is that he believed that.
