Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.

All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Ezra gave that another shrug. "The food is plentiful, the people are hot in numbers that defy all statistical probabilities, and it's not easy to get bored here." He smiled again. "Name's Ezra, by the way, but Shirtless Guy also works."

"I'm Dante," Dante offered. "I'd shake your hand or something, but I'm thinking that's not really going with your whole look here."

He did not mind the look.

"That's okay, we can save physical contact for later." Dirty? With Ezra, you could count on the thought being there almost always. "Welcome to Fandom, Dante. It's a weird place, but you'll get used to it."

"Define 'weird', because I've been hearing that a lot," Dante said.

He'd think about getting laid later. Like when he was clear on the demon situation.

Or when the sun went down a couple hours from now.

"There was a space ship that abducted people a little while ago," Ezra offered, shrugging again. "That kind of thing. Although, don't ask me for any of the details on that because I actually missed it."

The Coterie had actually been helpful for once.

"Aliens. Right." Dante shrugged. "Eh. I could take aliens."

Probably easier than demons, right?

"I don't know if we're getting them again anytime soon," Ezra mused. "But other things in that vein are pretty likely. So, if that dosn't freak you out, I'd say you're going to do fine here. And that's a great thing for the rest of us."

Because he was pretty.

"Hey, I guess we can agree on that," Dante said, smirking at him again. "Thanks."

This kind of thing was easier to deal with when he was being hit on at the same time. Who knew?

"My pleasure." Ezra even bowed a little. "And on that note, I live in room 210 at the dorms. You know, if at any time you'd like to... hear more about various kinds of Fandom experiences."

Dante clacked his tongue. "You know what, I'll keep that in mind," he said. "Always up for an oral presentation."

Ezra smiled like he considered this the start of something beautiful.

"And it just so happens I'm great at giving those." Of course. "Receiving them, too. So that should work out in a mutually satisfactory way."
