Mabel was not a library aide. Heck, Mabel had been so busy knitting an entire summer collection of spaceship-themed sweaters for herself and Waddles to model that she'd completely managed to miss that there was an actual spaceship hanging in the sky overhead.

And that there were a lot of people who appeared to be missing.

And that both of these things amounted to 'probably a disaster of some sort.'

But hey, the cutest Mystery Twin was on the job now, letting herself into the library with a selection of donuts from J,GoB and her thinking cap (which was really just a pirate hat made out of newspaper), and she was ready to research!

... Or at least to catch up on whatever research had been done thus far. Look, fashion was important too, okay?

Kinzie was in a good mood. She was hitting the sweet spot-- she got to vandalize Zinyak's work!

So if she was hunched over her laptop grinning while looking like she hadn't slept in days, well. That was why.
