"Last week we added in traffic," Brian began. "This week we're adding in...consequences. By which I mean cops. Hey, you're speeding through a city in broad daylight, eventually a cop's gonna notice. Maybe not as soon as you might expect, but..." he digressed. "Now, I am not saying 'drive like a cop won't pull you over' or 'pull over for the cops,' although of course in real life you should blah blah blah whatever you know the rules. How are you going to develop your reflexes that way? No. Your assignment, ladies and gentlemen, is to evade the cops. If you get pulled over or blocked in, you go back to the start. Let's go."

Yeeeah, Kira clearly needed practice at evading the cops, because she ended up back at the beginning multiple times. At least she didn't feel bad about it.

Let's be honest about this, once Thorin's car exploded once again, he did not have the best interaction with the police. It did not help that he was of the 'you have no authority over the prince of Erebor' school of thought.

Yeah. Yeah, that wasn't helping him.

All that studying maps a few weeks ago had paid off. Not only did Kathy remember the smaller streets where cops were less likely to congregate, those few times she did get a cop on her tail, she knew where to turn off to lose them completely.

And that lead to her...pulling up to the finish line with no one else about. First! Yes!
