Bond had told his students to wear something suitable for swimming to class, and when they arrived at the Danger Shop there were also wetsuits and diving equipment waiting for them. The Danger Shop itself resembled a boat on a calm sea, and the top of a large metal cage poked out of the water. Triangular fins cut through the rolling wavelets.

"Good morning," Bond greeted them. "Like last week's sky-diving, swimming with sharks is another activity where a large part of the draw can be the perceived danger, for others, the draw is in seeing a species that has remained largely unchanged through millions of years in its natural environment. Now, despite certain films, shark attacks are relatively rare and the majority of them are able to be attributed to mistaken identity rather than some kind of malice on the sharks part, however, given that they are a large, apex predator and even a mistaken nibble could have dire consequences, we will be using a shark cage despite it being the Danger Shop."

Gear up while Bond explains the day's activity!

Kathy was still grinning from an hour of riding horses. Now she got to swim with sharks! It was like someone had asked a preteen version of herself what would make up a great day and planned her class schedule accordingly.

Once in the water, you can admire the majestic creatures gliding through the water. Occasionally one will come up and bump the cage, but on the whole they seem more interested in the shoals of fish darting around them.

Nathan was really glad he didn't have to go swimming today. He knew how to tread water and a few basic strokes but not enough to swim away from a shark.

So, he was just going to float safely in the cage and try not to piss off the sharks and their pointy teeth.

Kathy was clinging to the bars of the cage, pressed as close to it as she could get in order to get the best view.

This was so awesome.

After about a quarter of an hour, there's a shimmer and a blorp sound as the Danger Shop glitches and another shark appears. There seems to be something odd about its head...

Suddenly a bright red light appears from its head and starts cutting through the age. Maaaybe, you should think about getting out of the water...

Well. That wasn't good. That was actually pretty freaking frightening. Nathan started to inch away from the laser cutting through the cage and frantically looked for a way out that wouldn't end with him fake dying.

Oooookay. This was not what Kathy had been expecting and she had to push herself away from the bars quickly to avoid getting...lasered? Was that what was going on here?

So you're back on the boat, but there is a shark with a laser on its head circling and taking pot-shots at you.

Any ideas on how to deal with it?

"Is there anything we can throw?" Kathy asked, looking around for something with a bit of heft to it. "We don't have to fight the shark, just knock out the laser on its head."

He's there and had no plans for this class to involve laser shark tag.

Shaaaaaaaaaaark.
