Practical Philosophy, Friday
Since the weather allowed for class to be outside, the usual set-up was in place; Ender met up with them all on the dorm lawn, bringing food and water.
"I haven't got that much to say this week," he promised. "Most of you might well have just suffered through your first Fandom weekend last weekend. Glimpses of your future-- or should I say, of a future. I've lived through three of such glimpses during my time here, and some of them wound up very far from the truth."
He smiled a little. "For the better, in my case. But I can't promise you anything. Still, there's a question to be asked: do you think these glimpses are representative of your future? Can you depend on them, even make choices based on them? Or are they just strange blasts of whimsy we have to contend with?"
