Physical Education. Wednesday, Period Three

When students arrived in the Danger Shop today, it was set to look like your typical high school gymnasium. In the center was a wire bin filled with seven brightly-colored rubber balls. Oh yes.

"So far you have studied falling and punching," Ghanima said cheerfully as the bell rang. "So, today we're going to look at another classic physical exercise which combines throwing things at people as hard as you can and then running the other way when they come after you: Dodgeball."

She quickly went through and explained the rules. "--and NO headshots or full-body contact," she added, looking at them sternly. "We are not snipers, and I do not feel like explaining brain injuries to the clinic staff."

"No other rules, keep your own score, find your own tactics. Go have fun, and get any lingering tension from the weekend out of your system."

Ringo had never played dodgeball before, and she'd been pretty hesitant about the whole thing until she realized just how bouncy the balls were. No one could really get hurt with something like that!

So she grinned and rushed forward to grab a bright red rubber ball before looking around for someone to throw it at.

She was probably about to learn just how bad her aim was.

As soon as the Ghanima gave the signal, Kathy darted forward to snag a ball. She ended up with the yellow one and ran for one side of the gym to get a good vantage point, both to look for someone to tag out and also to keep an eye out to make sure no one was getting unfairly pelted.

Yeah, that was probably the teacher and TA's job, but she remembered hating dodgeball before coming to Fandom High.

Activity: After Class

The bell rang and Ghanima clapped her hands. "That's it for today!" she called out. "If you want to stay and work on things from the previous two weeks or spar with a partner, I'll be here for a few more hours."

Hanna was getting out her aggression on those punching bags. Quite a lot of aggression, really. But she was up for a spar if someone wanted to ask.
