Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could soak up that precious vitamin D, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool.

All of the tables had at least a little glitter on them though. It was a welcoming gesture to get glitter someplace you didn't know glitter could go!

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"You can if it's rainbow fabric," Kathy assured her.

She'd know, she wore them frequently.

"I didn't know his did that," Kathy said. "I've never been sick any of the times I traveled through portals. Maybe it's because we chose to step through, rather than, like, being scooped up unwittingly?"

"Why wouldn't you be able to?" Kathy asked, confused. "Of course! My favorite outfit has rainbow trim. No one's gonna tell you what you can or can't wear."

Unless she took Ms. Adler's fashion class and even then, it wasn't so much being told, more just seeing Ms. Adler's pained expressions.

"Well, what if it doesn't look good?" Alluka said reasonably. Or, at least, she thought it was reasonable.

Maybe it wasn't? Alluka's ideas on fashion were all pretty much self-generated.

"Oh, well, I guess?" Kathy had only started really caring about fashion in the past few weeks. She was still pretty bad at considering stuff like that. "But isn't the most important thing how you feel when you wear it? If it makes you happy, who cares?"
