School Auditorium: MSND rehearsal (4-7 PM FHT)

There are snacks and assorted beverages on a table to the side, and the house lights are up.

The stage lighting is still a little beyond Rory, so the simple overhead fluorescents will have to do for the day.

And by the door, there's a sign-in sheet.

Actors? Your stage awaits.

"Getting to sleep onstage?" Xander asked. "Ooh, dire."

"Waking up to love an ass. Gah. And Oberon never pays for it. Titania should have disenchanted Bottom and kept him as a love-slave," Parker grumbled, then yawned. "I sleep, I dream, I... lie down and pretend to think of England. And await my cue."

~~Hey, Lee totally pays! In cash!~~

"Hey, my ass is completely love-worthy." Xander did that goofy neck-craney thing you only do when you're looking at your own ass and don't realize how totally goofy you in fact appear. "Though I'm not sure how I like the slave part. Does it involve Titania wearing leather?"

Parker's smirk at the neck-craning was hidden behind the script for a second, then right out in the open as he asked about the leather. "The words 'goth' and 'gossamer' were tossed around. That dominatrix enough for you, slave? Although, if Gremlin Baby Jesus is around, I'm sure the leather would be a good precaution," she said idly.

"I dunno. Gossamer kind of sounds like somebody who's hopefully not me is likely to be running around yelling 'Where the HELL is my chiffon?'"

Xander frowned at the mention of Gremlin Baby Jesus. "What is this thing about the gremlin, anyway? Did somebody stick the one from teh Christmas pageant in a box or something? I thought all the gremlins got EX-TERM-IN-ATED."

"Better not be." Parker bit her lower lip in amusement. "I think you guys might be dressed up as hippies. How are you with bell-bottoms and tie-dye?"

She made a face. "I have no idea how they found the thing, but I'm getting it a muzzle. The last thing I need is to pull a Cally on-stage and suddenly think I can fly, thanks so much."

Xander pulled a face himself. "Tie-dye's ok; bell-bottoms not so much unless one is actually a bell. Which I am not, despite the thing about you are what you eat combined with my impressive rate of ding-dong consumption."

"We could always put *you* in leather. And a chain." Parker grinned. "They do lead him away you know, maybe by a leash?" She cocked her head, studying him. "And by the way, what's with the 'I've-been-roughed-up-in-an-alley' look? It's cute, but ouchie."

Xander could possibly be forgiven for a momentary lapse into silence as he tried to picture, and then tried not to picture, then tried to picture, then tried not to picture, then decided he really hoped it would be ok to bribe the mallet-man living in the bump on his skull with alcohol soon.

"Um? Oh, ouchie. Crazy evil robot attack."

"Of course it was." Parker shook her head. "I heard on the radio. Are you mostly okay? I hope?" Her smile widened. "You don't have a problem with me climbing around on you?"

Sometimes, you make your own fun.

~~Lee pays Cash!~~

"Not unless you're planning on climbing around on my face," Xander answered, pointing to his scratches.

Sometimes you're unaware of other people's fun, and sometimes you're not. Sometimes you stifle a smirk and don't let on which is which.

"Or my finger," he added, holding up a bandaged little finger. "Other than that, I'll live."

Parker is rarely unaware of other people's fun, though.

"Definitely a dog collar. With choke chain." She smiled sweetly. "Glad to hear you're okay, though. How's that TV-mind-control working out for you? 'Freaked out'anyone lately?"

Xander stuck his tongue out at her. "I made robots explode by tuning them in to a Rob Thomas video. I win."

Parker chortled. "You completely do. Just remember who's left lying in the meadow at the end of this play." She looked considering. "Unless you want to join the revolution, and stay with Titania?"

"I don't know -- do I still get my head out of my ass by the end of the show if I choose what's behind Door Number 2?"

"Of course! We can't have jackass courtiers! We only take the best and brightest as Our minions!" Parker laid back on the chairs again, and crossed her legs, putting her hands behind her head. "You can join Helena in taking out Oberon's extra henchmen, and returning Oberon to Us in a nice collar for the injury he did Our person. Works for you?"

"I get to put Lee in a collar?" Xander coughed. "Um. Have to put Lee in a collar?"

Parker batted her lashes at him, then winked. "We order it. Do you wish to be our henchman, we crave this boon, sirrah. Hast thou some objection to the task?"

"Well, maybe; it's kind of mean to want to ~~leer~~ laugh at Lee Adama in bondage gear, right? But it's for art, so..."

"Exactly," Parker purred. "And you shall be most greatly rewarded." She grinned. "And besides, he is Our husband. He knew We were like this when We got married."

And if she's thinking of something *else* when she says that, well. It's not like Xander's going to tackle Lee and put a spiked collar on him. Damnit.

Xander snickered. "Really? Because you're usually so shy about stuff; I'd never have guessed."

Parker sniffed haughtily and closed her eyes. "Off with your head. Both of them. Flee our wrath, or bring us the body of Lee Adama. Your choice."

"I choose to believe the second head you're referring to is the jackass one," Xander told her.

"That doesn't really narrow it down, Xander." Parker's got her eyes closed, and maybe she's smiling an evil smile. "If I'm taking out two of them, well." She opened one eye. "Oberon in leather, flight, or mutilation. I would think it an obvious course, sirrah."

"The fleeing? Possibly, yes."
