Bonfire and Snowball Fight, Saturday Afternoon/Evening

In the late part of the afternoon, the finishing touches were put on the setup on the front lawn of the school, and the bonfire was lit. There were tables of warm food and drinks, as well as the ingredients for s'mores because it was a fire and traditions were important.

There was also, thanks to nature and the cold weather, a nice blanket of snow on the ground. There were some chairs and benches for people who just wanted to sit, eat, and watch, but anyone who wanted to get in on the snowball fight had plenty of space and ammunition waiting to be made. Zoe had found a chair for herself a safe distance from where any snowballs might be flying - unless things got a little crazy, which wouldn't surprise her in the slightest.

"If he does, he'll only help our chances!" Nathan said, shaking out one of his hands. "How do you know who wins this anyway?"

"Good question." Vider popped up to throw a snowball at someone, then said, "I'm up for any criteria that means we win."

Nathan thought about it for a second. "I...have no ideas beyond the team that has the most people still around once the snow's all gone. That might be awhile."

"I'm willing to go with it," Vider said, since she knew they had at least four people and that seemed pretty good, all told.

"I don't get exhausted easily," he agreed. "And if we're outside and the fire alarm doesn't go off again, I'll be fine for several hours."

"And I don't get cold." Vider peeped over the snow wall and frowned at Johnny Storm. "If I could figure out what to do about that fire guy..."

"That's something I won't really be able to help with," Nathan said regrettably. "I'd say douse him with water or something but he can probably just dry himself off fairly quickly."
