Being an industrious sort, today Face had set up several displays of books the new kids might find useful, prominent among them were some books on learning to read, a couple of cultural primers, and a stack of YA romance novels.

One of those things was not like the others.

His good deed done, Face was now napping behind the desk.

"Because I am trying to find my way home," Cassandra clarified. "It... is distracting me from that task."

"Distractions have their place," Face said. "I mean, not all the time, but if you're always on, you're going to tired and stressed, then you start to miss things. Best case you're not able to get the things you want done done right, worst case..."

Cassandra sighed softly. "You may be right," she admitted, "But it is difficult for me to think of it that way. I am not used to having this much time to myself."
