Faculty Meeting (Friday after classes)

After the student council cleared out, Zoe got the council room set up for yet another meeting, hoping all the teachers had gotten her handwavey email. Sure, classes had only been in session for a week, but she figured it was a good idea to check the new teachers for shell shock early. There were warm food and drinks set out (not the leftovers from the student council... at least, not totally) but nothing alcoholic. If people wanted to go that route, they would have to bring their own this time.

"Hello there, come on in and have a seat if you'd like," she said. "I thought it might be good for everyone to have a chance to get together without students around, and be inside where it's warm. I hope everyone's had a good first week. If you haven't, well, now you have a room full of people to vent to." It was the little things that helped make this job better.

"Have you gotten a lot of this yet?" Kitty asked.

"Considering how many of me have been here before me," Tony replied dryly. "Yes."

"Really? I only ever knew of... well, okay, two other yous. And mine. And Clint's..."

You know, barely any.

"You know Hawkeye?" Oh god, this could only end in tears.

"Kinda. In the way that I'm dating him?" Okay, so she was curious about the reaction. She'd never met Clint's Tony!

"Oh, are you," Tony said with a grin. "You know, I always pegged his type more capable of murdering him in his sleep."

[throughaphase]

"That does sound about right," Kitty said thoughtfully. "But I think his current type might be 'awesome girls.'"

"I am never going to let him live down that he's settled down."

Tony was a great friend.

[throughaphase]

"Good, don't. It'll be great," she said. "And tell me his reaction."

[imafuturist]

"Please," Tony scoffed. "I'll get pictures."

[throughaphase]

"Congratulations, I like you better than other Tonys," Kitty smiled. Poor Clint.

"You should. I'm the best Tony around."

They'd make Clint cry at some point, let's be honest.

"It's a real shame about your total lack of confidence," Kitty said.
