Faculty Meeting (Friday after classes)

After the student council cleared out, Zoe got the council room set up for yet another meeting, hoping all the teachers had gotten her handwavey email. Sure, classes had only been in session for a week, but she figured it was a good idea to check the new teachers for shell shock early. There were warm food and drinks set out (not the leftovers from the student council... at least, not totally) but nothing alcoholic. If people wanted to go that route, they would have to bring their own this time.

"Hello there, come on in and have a seat if you'd like," she said. "I thought it might be good for everyone to have a chance to get together without students around, and be inside where it's warm. I hope everyone's had a good first week. If you haven't, well, now you have a room full of people to vent to." It was the little things that helped make this job better.

"I wouldn't be against that," he replied, making a face at having his hat stolen. His head just looked so naked without it. "You could come in and talk about marketing if you want to promote yourself and the shop. I think I've got one in there who I know would make a visit. The other two I'm not sure about."

"You can already tell which of your students would frequent a sex shop?" Irene asked, lifting her brows and adjusting his hat adorably. "That's rather observant of you."

Hatter waved a hand. "I can tell said student would do it because he proudly stood on a desk when I asked and seemed very comfortable with being a center of attention. I have no doubts they'd walk right in and command attention."

"You asked your students to stand on their desks?" Irene asked, actually vaguely interested in that. "Why?"

"Why not?" he retorted. "I did so because I wanted to. I'm the teacher, I can do what I want."

"There wasn't a purpose to it other than just because you wanted to?" Irene asked, laughing. "I ought to try that. I'll make everyone dance into class next week, or something."

"I just thought it'd be fun," he admitted, shrugging. "And they all seemed to enjoy it so I apparently was quite correct."
