The Art of Baking with Friends, Thursday

Class today had gotten a bit, ah, off the rails. There was flour everywhere and only one teacher present. He was also covered in flour.

And looked slightly more surly that usual.

"You don't want to know," Derek ground out with a puff of flour. "Just--just pick someone to make a pie with for Thanksgiving. It's as close to a midterm as you're getting here."

That was true.

"Don't poison anyone and you get an A."

Easiest. Class. Ever.

Derek lifted his eyebrows expectantly. "Go."

And people thought the pony was why this class was so easy. Pff.

Nathan figured he wouldn't screw up a pie and he figured, with a partner, it'd be even easier to complete without a screw up.

Joker gave Nathan an awkward smile. "Soooooo.... Partners?" He shrugged. "It'll be easy as pie."
