The Library is open [2/27]

Parker's still studying her script. And sometimes making notes. But she'll help you if you need it.

He tilted his head. "I don't know, sometimes it feels like it would be easier if I could be pissed off. With Beka, it was simple. She messed with me and I couldn't trust her. Vala? It's still all there, I still want it but I know I won't get to keep it."

"We knew each other for a week, that really isn't hte word I'd use. Crush? Yeah, possibly. Love? No. I realised that when I got Crichton's memories of Aeryn," he studied Parker for a moment. "So, you liked him but he was a jerk to you and cheated? You can do better, Parkie. I'd offer to beat him up but..."

"No, but at least you're having fun while you wait for something that does last longer?" Cameron suggested and smiled at her. "Give it time."

It took a moment before he knew what she was refering to. "Yeah, all caught up. I think I might actually have some money again after this weekend too."

Cameron coughed and finally straightened up. "No, I don't really have the money."

He smiled, but shook his head. "Sounds fun, but I should probably stick around here."

"I thought the trip was supposed to be fun?" He poked back. "Besides, I think I saw my fling's name on the sign up list. There goes that fun."

"True, sucks to be in charge, huh?" Cameron shrugged. "I doubt it."

"Ah yeah, I'm sure it comes natural." He chuckled. "Jaye and I will be fine. Uh, I'm not sure if we're still flinging or not."

Okay, maybe he got it wrong and he should probably talk to Jaye now. He scratched his head. "Lots. Uh, how long do flings generally last?"

"Oh," he nodded and grinned. "So, repeat performances are totally normal and it doesn't have to be a one evening/morning sort of thing?"

Oh yeah, grinning even broader now, Cameron tapped on the desk absently. "That's definitely good to know. Thanks, Parkie. You're a well of useful information in a library full of useless books. When it comes to the subject of flings anyway." He paused. "Do we have books on flings?"

He laughed. "Just to know if you ahve it or not. I think I'd rather just go with the flow and see where this takes me right now."
