The Library is open [2/27]

Parker's still studying her script. And sometimes making notes. But she'll help you if you need it.

"Hey, whatcha doin'?"

"Looking at some of the materials Liz gave me for the England trip." Parker cocked her head at Zero, and grinned. "Hey, I almost forgot. Another person who's lived there. Tell me what's good to do in London, aside from the shopping."

"Haven't, actually. We settled down in Flange when Arsenal were still a stowaway--right after Turkey. But we visit sometimes. Um, let's see, touristy, there's the Globe, Madame Tussaud's, and the Tower--the guards really don't move, but it's kind of disappointing, all the prisoner rooms are done up fancy. But there's a room with torture equipment, or was when I was there, an' of course the crown jewels.

And you can go see Buckingham Palace ~~and there's a giant statue out front you can totally climb~~, but from, like, a distance. The British Museum. Ooh, Da took us to Churchill's bunker once, that was kind of swerval. And there's a great club scene, but that's less 'scheduled' and more 'sneaking out of the hotel once the chaperones are asleep.' ~~Am I supposed to IC know about this trip?~~"

"Awesome." Parker added a few notes to Liz's lists, and cocked her head. "Can't miss the crown jewels, of course. And the club scene sounds like something we can work around. Especially with Dr. Pierson as chaperone. ~~Yes, I think we can say it's out in the open now, but I'll post an IC sign-up list in an hour too.~~ Churchill's bunker?"

"Yeah, you know, during the Blitz, they basically moved operations underground. So it's this huge warren of rooms with like, maps and codebreaking machines and things, and their living quarters. Looks like they just picked up and left. Very historical."

"Oooo. Right. Definitely have to visit that." Parker stretched, and cocked her head. "We'll get back with about four days left on our Spring Break. Are you going to visit home in there?"

"Don' think so. It's the same thing as it was over Parents' Weekend, everybody's busy. Arsenal's goin' with Claude to some fashion thing, Twitch has Spring Break, too, so he's goin' to New York to see Henry, an' Rat has t' work." She did some quick mental math. "Actually, I might wind up just not comin' back with you guys. I think there's a show in Edinburgh that Friday, so I might be able to hang out with the 'rents."

((French customs agents: *look at Zero's passport, see last name*
Zero: *is detained for five hours*))

"That would be cool." Parker grinned. "Too bad I won't get to meet your dad. And your mom, of course."

"Yeah, I know what you're thinkin' about. He's like, old now."

"Alas. But I'm not dating older guys any more, so his virtue is safe." Parker grinned. "I'd like to commend your mom on her part in that special, though. Fabulous fight with the cops. But I think I'll come back here on Wednesday, and maybe make a quick trip to Blue Cove to see my dad. And maybe Sydney and Angelo."

[[*snickers at French customs agent* "I have nothing to declare but my hotness."]

"I'll tell her you approved of her right hook. That sounds nice, bein' at home for a bit."

Parker snickered. "I have to get Angelo a copy of that Fantasy graphic novel, and see how his... caregivers, are dealing with all the sugar I've been sending him. And I haven't seen Sydney since Thanksgiving, he always takes off over Christmas. So yeah, it should be-- interesting."
