"Well," Reno said, frowning and crossing his arms as the portal opened behind him on the Causeway. "That sucks, don't it? Put in all this time an' friggin' hard work, and then someone's come in and ripped it apart? So, what we're gonna do before we get back to work today is have ourselves a sit-down in the Seventh Heaven, and we're gonna talk about what you guys did last week and what we're gonna do goin' forward."

A beat.

"And then I got a proposal to go with it. So, let's get goin', hm?"

And through the portal he went, waving them along behind him into the back room of Tifa's bar, where there were plenty of seats. And Tifa and Cait Sith were already waiting for them, each wearing a little smile. Well. Tifa was wearing a little smile. Cait Sith's was usually pretty broad anyway.

"So," Reno said, smirking a little. "Last week sucked. Tell me about it. And then I'll tell you what these two came up with."

He'd probably expected that and more.
