Dream sits at his desk, hands folded.

"You may use this period as a review session for your midterm, which will be on Thursday. There are audio recordings of the Creature languages you have studied available for your individual use, as well as handouts on the languages and culture of each being."

Paige sits at her desk and studies rat, dragon and spider like her life depended on it, she also briefly goes over cat, although she's pretty confident with that.

She does however seem a little distracted.

Since a lot of his friends seem to be missing, Victor approached Paige with a smile. "You want to study together?" he asked.

Paige smiles slightly and nods, "yeah sure, are you any good at dragon or spider? Cos I've got to say I'm really not. I'm Paige by the way, we've not actually met properly have we?"

"I don't think we have," Victor said, sitting down and giving a little wave. "I'm Victor. My boyfriend Walter works over at Cafe Fina, if you've ever been over there. And yeah, I'm pretty good at Dragon, actually. Not so much Spider, and I'm really horrible at Cat. Funny enough, Rat's my best."

Paige nods, "oh yeah I know Walter, we met a while ago over pancakes, well more under pancakes really, since one was stuck to the ceiling."

She reaches down for her bag and pulls out her notes from last semester, "you're in luck I took Cat last time, so I can definitely help you out there, if you can help me with dragon."

At some point during the studying, Victor decided tot ake a smallbreak. "Hey, Paige...have you ever heard of a guy named Belthazor?"

Paige raises an eyebrow at him, "you could say that yeah, he and sister were or are kinda dating, why?"

"I was just wondering. I keep hearing about this reputation he has, and was curious. Actually, you're, like, the only person who hasn't said his name with any fear or anything like that in their voice."

He leaned in closer and said in Rat:

Blair chose the desk next to Molly and sat down. "You ready for the test Thursday?"

Molly smiled at Blair as he sat down. "As long as there isn't too much on dragon, I should get by." She thought for a moment. "Or spider, I didn't like that one very much at all."

"I'm not so fond of spider either, although it probably has to do with the fact that I don't really care for them." Blair grinned. "I do like dragon a lot, the rhyming is cool!"

Molly leaned over and whispered. "I don't like bugs at all, spiders included. I couldn't even talk to the spider that day in class." She sat back, putting a finger over her lips to indicate that it was a secret.

She took her hand away and grinned. "I like rat the best," she said in a normal voice. "I just wish I'd learned it sooner. It would have come in handy all those times I had to go through the sewers at home."

"Sewers?" He frowned and looked at her carefully. "Why were you in the sewers?"


[ooc: I've got my meeting in a few so I'll be gone for a couple of hours. I'll open a thread for us in the cafeteria now though. :) ]

"Me and my friends used the sewers to get around when we were first hiding from our parents. And then, later, I ended up down there after I got knocked out fighting some dragon lady. Being able to talk to rats would have been really helpful that time."

Molly made a dismissive gesture. "She was just some bad guy we fought a few years back. She was gross, but not as bad as the guy made out of bees." She shuddered.
