Library, Saturday
Okay. This wasn't a disaster. A breakfast of pancakes with Barry had helped Elsa calm down somewhat this morning before making her way into the library for her shift, clad in her boyfriend's hoodie and a pair of somewhat too-short jeans. Her feet were still bare, since the clothing shop wasn't open yet by the time she had to get herself to work, but so long as the floor was clean, that really wasn't an issue. And besides, she had no plans to spend more time out from behind the circulation desk than she absolutely had to, today. Nobody even had to know about the barefoot part, did they?
She was still looking a bit shellshocked as she nursed a cup of tea, trying to will her nerves to stop jangling. The bracelets Barry had given her were doing an excellent job of stopping her from freezing everything in sight, but if little crystals of frost were spiderwebbing out from under her bare toes, well... That was another reason to stay behind the desk, wasn't it?
The etiquette books weren't even going to touch this one.
[Open, with sporadic SP during the day.]

Re: Talk to Elsa!
There was a joke about a nice rack to be had in there somewhere, but Elsa most certainly wasn't going to be the one to make it. Ever.
"They've certainly got... character... don't they?"
Re: Talk to Elsa!
Beat.
"Of antlers."
He was not above making such jokes.
Re: Talk to Elsa!
She really didn't mind too much.

"Well, I appreciate the manners," she laughed. "And the moose. Which are completely absurd, by the way, but I'm sure you knew that, too."
She have her toes another wiggle. The moose wiggled their noses back at her. These were the things Barry Ween could make a princess resort to, right here.

Re: Talk to Elsa!
See, Elsa was easy to please!
And... she was wiggling the moose again. Because the antlers were floppy and it was sort of fascinating.

Yes, she was planning on remaining behind closed doors once she was crowned Queen. Was there any other way of doing it?
"The slippers are cute," she added. "It's entirely possible that I like them. A little."

She really had to ask these things. As if she didn't already know. Silly Elsa.
"I'm almost curious to see what you come up with, now," she admitted.

And then she was laughing again.
"Maybe you can outdo the moose another time," she decided. "I happen to enjoy your company, too."
Even if he did keep teasing her about her boyparts.
Re: Talk to Elsa!
Really he was saving the entire island if you think about it.
"Good. And I can help you with the books," Barry said as he gave her a smile. "Except the etiquette books. They can go fuck themselves."
Re: Talk to Elsa!
"I can handle the etiquette books," Elsa replied, smiling mischievously. "I have an agreement with them, after all. They don't harass me, and we can all get along with our days secure in the fact that I know far more proper etiquette than anything that you'd see in a book from this day and age."

In a fit of daring, Elsa reached for her tea, going to hold her teacup properly, pinkie finger up, before making a very short-lived gesture with a very different finger, instead.
A thump across the library stood as testimony to the fact that apparently, the etiquette books were capable of fainting.
Elsa, ever the refined lady, went back to holding her tea properly and smiling serenely before taking a sip.
Re: Talk to Elsa!
"Shiiiiiiiiiiit. Better be careful princess. You're going to get a bad reputation."
Re: Talk to Elsa!
She was being perfectly respectable and nobody could prove otherwise.
Re: Talk to Elsa!
He shook his head and leaned in to give Elsa a kiss. Genderswap be damned.
"I love you."
Re: Talk to Elsa!
Or maybe she just thought it would be funny.
Either way, she was giving him a mischievous grin before leaning forward to kiss him back.
"I love you, too. And I intend to keep you on your toes for as long as I possibly can."
Re: Talk to Elsa!
"I'm holding you to that," he said with a smirk.
And he was so going to do the same.
