Shop Class: [2/27] - Danger Shop Craziness

As the students enter the shop room, Mac greets them with a smile.

After everyone arrives and signs-in, Mac makes some adjustments to the remote control and the room turns into a metal scrapyard.

"Hey everyone. Welcome to Shop Class. Today we'll be doing another one of our Junkyard creativity excercises..."

*SLAM* *CLUNK*

Mac looks over at the doors to the shop class which have closed and locked on their own. "Hal? Could you open please?"

"I'm sorry Mac," said a monotone voice. "I'm afraid I can't do that. Apparently someone is very upset at you."

Five robots shimmer into existence around the group of students.

"Okay. This is not good," Mac muttered to himself. "Kids! Run for it! Get into the supply room! There's no holoprojectors there!"

Pip knelt down and pulled out a combat knife from his boot.

"Haven't wee been through this, Hal? You don't want to kill us any longer!"

"Times change Mr. Bernadette."

The robot turns and fires a laser blast at the students.

Pip flings himself to the side, throwing the knife at the robot in mid-air. As he hits the ground, he rolls and comes up with another knife.

The laser blast goes through the air and hits a pile of junk behind pip. The pile explodes sending a rain of metal junk on top of MacGyver pinning him.

The knife lodges in the robot's "eye", but it does not stop moving forward.

Pip curses, but comes to the conclusion that if he doesn't take out the robot, Mac's abillity to get up will become irelevant. He charges the robot from the side and slams the knife blad into what, as far as he can tell, is its head, hoping that the rubber gloves would insulate him from any electrical shock.

Sparks fly everywhere and the robot bursts into flame.

Pip's victory is short lived as several more robots come around another pile of junk.

"EXTERMINATE"

After picking up Mac (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/676188.html?thread=32234332#t32234332), Pippi turns around to see the approaching robots.

"Well that's lovely."

She looks down at the pile of junk.

"Maybe this isn't such a useless power after all..."

Being careful not to jostle Mac to much. Pippi leans over the pile of debris that broke his legs.

*SNIFF*

Several bits of shrapnel disappear up her nose.

"Exterminate?" Pip yelled, pulling his knives from the robot. "I'll bloody exterminate you, you pepper-shaker bastards!" He dropped into a fighting crouch.

Pippi steps up behind Pip still holding Mac in her arms.

"Pip? You remember that power I showed you earlyer? Well, I just loaded up, so you may want to keep your head down a bit."

Pip glances behind him, his eye widening. He sheathes his knives and dodges to the side.

Pippi takes a deep breath and blows. The strength of Pippi blowing air out deliberately is pretty much gale-force under normal circumstances. This time however, a number of pointy bits of shrapnel, each several feet long, are added to the mix, thanks to her wacky super-power of the week.

Pippi runs to Mac and starts pulling debris off of the teacher.

"Have you out if a jiffy sir. You okay under there?"

Mac throws off a peice of metal and winces. "No. My legs broken and that means the safety locks are off. We need to get everyone into the Supply room to regroup."

"Okay, that's bad... This may hurt but I'll be gentle."

She tucks her belaying pin into her belt and as carefully as possible picks up MacGyver.

Mac looks at Pippi with an amazed look. "You're pretty strong for someone so young."

Pippi nods.

"Oh yes. I'm the strongest girl in the world... Where I come from."

She adjusts her grip slightly.

"Let me know if I'm hurting you and I'll try not to."

Walter scowled. Dammit, this had to happen when he was hobbled, didn't it? He should have worn the stupid gloves.

Gloves...

He kept his eyes on the robots and asked Pip in a low voice, "Do you have any more of those gloves?"

Pip reached into a pocket on his millitary coat and pulled out a spare pair of rubber gloves. "Have fun, mon ami," he said, tossing them to Walter.

There wasn't time to pull off his rings and put on the gloves, so Walter shoved the gloves inside his waistcoat and started doing exactly what Alfred has been teaching him to do - sizing up his opponent.

At that moment, he was unarmed and didn't know his enemy, so he was going to try to take the smart approach.

"You let me know when you want me to jump in boys." She said swinging it merrily.

Another robot advances toward Walter and Pippi. From it's visor a laser blast is shot out toward them.

Dodging bullets? Sure. Dodging lasers? No. So Walter was grateful for taking the time to observe his enemy and the other students.

Walter called "Look out!" to Pippi and dove aside, looking for cover behind a pile of debris. He peered over the debris in time to see Pip's victory against one of the robots. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/676188.html?thread=32232028#t32232028) Right, now he knew a weakness at least.

Pippi dives to the side and sees that Mac has been buried under debris, she scrabbles over to help him.

"He says his legs have been broken and we have to get to a store room!" She calls over.

Walter pulled a glove on his right hand and set to work on the rings on his left.

"I have two good shots with my wires before the spaghetti will muck everything up." One for each hand. "I can give you that much cover."
