Shop Class: [2/27] - Danger Shop Craziness

As the students enter the shop room, Mac greets them with a smile.

After everyone arrives and signs-in, Mac makes some adjustments to the remote control and the room turns into a metal scrapyard.

"Hey everyone. Welcome to Shop Class. Today we'll be doing another one of our Junkyard creativity excercises..."

*SLAM* *CLUNK*

Mac looks over at the doors to the shop class which have closed and locked on their own. "Hal? Could you open please?"

"I'm sorry Mac," said a monotone voice. "I'm afraid I can't do that. Apparently someone is very upset at you."

Five robots shimmer into existence around the group of students.

"Okay. This is not good," Mac muttered to himself. "Kids! Run for it! Get into the supply room! There's no holoprojectors there!"

"So far so good," Mac said wondering why he was being called doc. "How've you been Pip?"

Pip held up his hands. They were covered by rubber gloves. Glittery rubber gloves. "Well... lately I've been having Midas touch-like problems. ONly with glitter and not gold."

Mac raised his eyebrows at that. "Yeah, that's a problem all right. I woke up with a tail the other day myself."

And because I just remembered it that's when Pip might notice a long tail swishing behind MacGyver.

"I forgot how weird things can get here."

Walter stared at the tail.

"This really is going around. At least animals aren't sticking to you like they are with Bridge?"

He didn't mention his spaghetti issues.

"Bridge Carson has animals sticking to him? Huh. Now that's something you don't hear about everyday. By the way, I'm Mac I don't believe we've met."

"Walter Dornez, sir. We spoke at the beginning of the semester about using the Danger Shop for practice, but then my new tutor found me and I have not had the spare time to use it."

Pippi thinks the tail is nice and would like to pet it. But the thing about tails is that they telegraph the mood of the owner, and the tail might be twitching around in a "I wish I didn't have a tail" kinda way.

She could be misunderstanding it.

She'd have to bring it up in Creature Languages.

But for now? She's not going to say anything about it to Mac.
