How To Get By In A Hostile World, Wednesday
Atton, in a stunning display of forethought, had left his jacket at home figuring it would just get in the way of any fast movements, in case the island decided to dump water on him again.
As it turned out, it did; it had taken a series of well-timed flips, dashes and jumps to make it to the school unscathed, but space, he'd made it. Score one for Rand, zero for the island.
Then he found out in the hallway that the water wasn't actually limited to outdoors - which would explain why his arrival in the Danger Shop was punctuated by his feet hitting the ground after a particularly acrobatic leap-- only for another blast of water to drop down out of the sky and hit him straight on.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS--"
Cover your ears, kids.
Once he was done cursing in Twi'lekki (and cursing the fact he'd decided to wear a white tunic this morning nothing good ever comes of white clothing) he turned to the class. "Not one word," he snapped. "Actually, you know what, let's skip the lecture. Today is the second part of introductions - how well do you roll with the punches?"
He jabbed his finger towards two doors. "Left side, regular day. Right side, flight sim. Pick one. Deal."

Rolling With The Punches! - Door B
You're supposed to make an easy trip from the space station your ship is in down to the planet below. However, as soon as you try to start up the ship, alarm bells start going off outside - and the hangar bay doors start closing, while a voice announces you're being impounded.
Should you make it out, a few fighters will start firing on your ship. Try and make it down to the planet's surface without dying horribly and Atton might be vaguely impressed.
Re: Rolling With The Punches! - Door B
Still, despite his excitement, Face remembered to familiarise himself with the controls and do the pre-flight check before powering up the engines. Which meant when the alarms started he was able to punch the accelerator and get out of the hanger with metres to spare.
Though the fighters soon had him wishing for an A-Wing or a X-Wing. Even a Y-Wing would do, he wasn't picky.
In the end, Face made a respectable enough showing, especially considering his relative inexperience and lack of Force-enhanced reflexes. He might have only made the surface by the skin of his teeth, but he'd still made it without crashing.

Kriff it. She totally could've made it.
Re: Rolling With The Punches! - Door B
She let loose with a pretty much word/pronunciation perfect mimickry of Atton's curses. Oh they were fun to say!!!
Re: Rolling With The Punches! - Door B
He got out of the hangar with... well, without inches to spare. He was a little reluctant to punch the engines while inside the hangar -- who knew who might be behind him? -- and that cost him some bits of the ship's tail.
It was nothing important, at least not while he was still in space, and he dodged the fighters without much problem. The mangled tail messed with the aerodynamics, though, so landing in the planet's atmosphere turned into a harrowing adventure. But it was one he survived, so: score!
