Fun in the Sun, Monday, Period 4

Bond's class was meeting down on the beach at Serenity Cove today, where he waited for them with a number of variously sized shovels and buckets.

"Good afternoon," Bond greeted them once everyone had arrived. "Today we'll be taking a turn for the artistic, and trying our hands at sand sculpting, which, as the name suggests, involves using sand as an artistic medium. Sometimes this results merely in crude constructions that wash away in the next tide, other times exhibits that last for months, however they all use damp sand as the base material."

"Your task today is to create your own sand sculpture, either individually or in groups. Try to use your imagination to come up with something interesting."

Will couldn't help cheating a bit by using his powers to hold up sand here and there while he went to work on a castle.

Jalian wasn't really the artistic type. Sure, she could replicate patterns and things, but put her in front of a blank canvas sand...

With a mingled sense of nostalgia and vindictiveness, she set about sculpting a square, lumpy thing with four legs and tentacles. It was a...decent but inexact rendering of a Corvichi. Ghess'Rith, to be precise.

Just inside the high-tide line.
