"Do you get cold easily?" Walter felt bad that he'd never really thought to ask. Maybe it was a mutant thing or a Victor thing or some other thing he hadn't thought of.

"Because it's not too bad. Especially if we did something to get our blood moving. I have a frisbee for Pup, we could take him down to the park sometime this weekend and play.

"Nah, but it's supposed to be about 50 degrees out this weekend and really windy, so it'll be even colder. I wonder if we can take Pup to the gym, though. it'll be really warm there, and we can play on the pyramid basketball court."

"Better safe than sorry. Vampires in my world can't be submerged. Rain isn't a problem, so it isn't being wet. It's something about being completely underwater that is the problem."

He frowned, thinking. "It might even have to be ocean water, I'm not sure, but it's best to be prudent. I don't want to have to explain that I let Pup melt."
