[ooc: Dude, I totally read that as "reffer" at first. I was like what?. And then glue sticks? Oooohhh...glow sticks! So that must be rave! *feels like a dork* :p]

Victor sat at a table in the corner, facing away from the rest of the cafeteria, and brooded. He was begining to get extremelyfrustrated with himself. Every week he attended classes and hung out with Walter...and not much else. He hadn't really thought about it until he had been laying on his bed last night, bored out of his mind, and he had heard the radio broadcast. Once again, while it seemed everyone else was getting into hijinks and having a lot of fun and making headlines, he was mentioned almost as an afterthought. He scoffed at the irony of it: when he had first arrived, he'd intended to just stay out of everyone's way and try to get a decent education. Now, he was all emo because he didn't feel popular enough.

He needed to do something big. Something that'd cement his place at Fandom.

But what?

John decides to have lunch in the cafeteria. He grabs some steek and seled and takes a seat at one of the tables.

Pip grabs some steek, seled, and meshed putetues and goes to sit by Victor before he noticies that Victor is engaged in some high class brooding. ~~Perhaps Bel is having more of an influence than he realizes.~~ Seeing someone that he's pretty sure he met once, he walks over to John's table. "D'you mind?"

"Nope," John answers. "Have a seat." He looks up from his lunch and notices the glitter. The many, many layers of glitter on Pip.

"Accident in art class?"

"I wish," Pip grumbles as he takes the offered seat. "Along with everyone and their mother, I seem to have developed my own useless superpower. Think King Midas, but with glitter."

"Everything you touch turns to glitter?" John shakes his head but can't help smiling. "Okay, so you shoot glitter, Rory can take her arms and legs off, Jaye sticks to walls. I'm scared to eat this food and possible develop the ability to use my body as a musical instrument."

"Don't forget Veronica's abillity to turn water to NyQuill. Or something," Pip said. "We're like the world's most useless super team."

Nadia grabbed some food without really looking at it, and hearing John and Pip's conversation, headed over to join them.

"One word for you. Helium."

She didn't look pleased with the world, today. She actually looked like she'd just rolled out of the wrong side of the bed. But there was nothing obviously wrong with her,

"Helium?" John frowns. "You turn things into helium?"

Nadia sighed. "Not quite." She screwed her face for a moment as if in concentration.

*pfffffffffft!*

"^{That answer your question?}"

"...Helium?" Pip asked.

"^{You fart helium?}" Pip asked.

After Nadia demonstrated her talent, John suddenly finds his steek very interesting.

"Well, that's...well, that's...I have no idea what that is, Nadia."

Nadia rubbed her forehead. "^{Unfortunately, yes. Since last night.}"

_{[[YOUR FUTURE, CHRICTON! YOUR FUTURE! *just watched the first four episodes of Farscape last night*]]}

"^{Damn. And here I was hoping you had a cure.}" Sarcasm plus helium? Well, let's just say it's an interesting mix. "^{Veronica said she thought it was some cloud of toxic gas that's affecting the dorms.}"

Pip, not wanting to go with the crowd, directed his attention to his putetues. "So... any ideas as to how this happened? I think Veronica's main theory is 'toxic gas cloud'."

John says.

"Sounds plausible," John says. "But, then again, anything would sound plausible for this school. Perhaps an allergy to something? I mean, I don't have any powers so maybe I'm allergic?"

Nadia nodded glumly. "^{The voice thing seems to fade pretty quickly, too. Just a couple of minutes. You haven't had anything happen to you yet?}"

Pip nodded. "I figure we should all just get everyone together and try to figure out if there's something we have in common pre-powers. Veronica said that Piper thinks it's magical in nature."

"^Lucky." Nadia cleared her throat and took a sip of her water. "I'd say it was the food, but I haven't eaten in here for most of the week."

"Probably a good idea," John says, nodding. "If anything," John says and starts to smile, "you guys could combine your forces and becomes an awesome superhero team."
