Evan was pretty sure he wasn't supposed to have his dog in the library.
Evan wasn't quite as certain about his dinosaur, on the other hand. Normally for his shifts he would just leave them in his room and make sure they had plenty to do, but today he'd been unable to herd Ozzy and OL back onto the ferry after their morning walk. He didn't really blame either of them for resisting. After all, the boat ride unsettled the both of them, and their temporary lodgings were creepy as heck. But it meant that he was stuck with both during his library shift.
It was really, really hard to stay on task when you felt it was necessary to stop what you were doing every ten to fifteen minutes to make sure your dog and dinosaur were safe and well-watered and could find shade and and and...
Today was pretty much going to be a wash in the library, yes. Oops.
