*Luffy bounds into the library, eager to start some personal research. After wandering up and down the shelves for a while, he notices the Special Collections section in the back*

Wow, I bet that's where all the treasure maps are kept!

*He charges in, pulling down any and all large, old, leather-bound books, and starts to flip through them*

Isaacc turns with wide eyes, grabbing a book as it flies towards him. Surprisingly, the area on Science and Alchemy is not far down the aisle of the Special Collections books. "Calm down, you're worse than a goblin!" He calmly sets the book on an empty slot nearby.

*looks up and grins* I'm just making sure I don't miss anything, any one of these books might have what I'm looking for. Plus, they're all so cool looking.

The blond haired adept just stares, blinking slowly. This one's an odd one... he thinks. He stops for minute, then shakes his head. "Just what are you looking for?"

*quickly and somewhat violently flipping the pages in a very austere-looking book* I'm looking for some maps of the Grand Line. *looks up* You haven't seen any, have you?

Isaac stops for a moment, then shakes his head. "Never heard of it."

Ahhhh, so I guess you're not a pirate then. That's cool though, it means I won't have to fight you :o)

Isaac shakes his head. "No, I'm an Adept. A Venus Adept, actually." He thinks for a minute. "Why would we have to fight?"

Adept, what's an Adept? It sounds pretty cool :o)

Well, see, I'm here trying to become King of the Pirates, and if you were another pirate out looking to become king, obviously I'd have to defeat you first before I could head out to the Grand Line and look for Gold Rogers' treasure.

Okay, that all just went over his head, but he can explain what an Adept is.

Isaac thinks, then shakes his head. "An Adept is someone who can use Psyenergy. There are four types of adepts, one for each of the four basic elements. Venus, the power of the earth; Mars, the burning fires; Mercury, the powers and flow of water's many forms; and, Jupiter, possessing the great powers of the winds."

*his eyes open wide at the description* Wow, so you can control the elements?! That's so cool! Wish I could do that, I'd make the wind blow my ship right to where the treasure was hidden!

Isaac shakes his head. "I told you I was a Venus Adept. Besides, Psyenergy isn't a power to be taken lightly. Psyenergy is meant to only be used for good, never for evil."

Well, I always fight for the good guys! Those bad guys, they give us pirates a bad name, always picking fights with people, messing things up. I only fight when I have to, when someone hurts someone else, or insults my friends, or makes fun of my hat.

Well, it is kind of an odd-looking hat, but he won't insult the guy. Isaac nods. "Fighting becomes necessary at times, I guess. Especially when defending someone you care about."

The young adept nods. "I guess I am looking to strengthen my skills here, as well, perhaps even find any more missing Djinni. One can always better themselves."

Isaac looks intently towards the hyper young pirate with a smile. "I have an idea. Perhaps we can train together at some point. I'll even go easy on you..." After all, murder is probably the worst possible way to make friends at a place like this...
