Cara had informed her students to meet her in the preserve, where she waited for them in a small clearing. Within the clearing, a basic campsite was set up, with bedrolls placed around a banked fire. Given the cosy set up, it was entirely possible she was going to teach them about making camp in the wilderness.
Anyone who actually believed that clearly hadn't been paying anywhere near enough attention thus far.
"If you happen to be doing your heroing within any kind of group of two or more people, sex is going to come up sooner or later," Cara stated, bluntly dashing any hopes this wasn't going to end horribly. "This is perfectly normal, life and death situations build tension that needs release, and when you're part of a tight-knit group often your companions will be the first place you'll look to help you find that release."
"Now I'm going to assume you're all at least aware of how sex works, so this isn't going to be a class on the mechanics of the act." So they could breathe a sigh of relief there. "All I'm going to say on that topic is not to be an idiot and to remember to use whatever protections you have against disease or getting with child, and if anyone is actually confused on the how-tos, you can bring any questions to me after class."
"Instead we're going to be looking at how not to disrupt the rest of your hypothetical group while getting your release. Which, depending on your travelling companions, involves exercising some basic discretion. Easy enough if you happen to have lodging with solid walls and seperate rooms available, but you need to put a bit more effort in a situation like this," Cara told them. "Often its the little things that count, like finding some private spot rather than actually using your campsite while everyone else is asleep." Unless you were aware just how deep a sleeper they were.
"So today we'll be doing a couple of different things. First you'll find a partner and practice coming up with excuses to leave the campsite with them that the people can at least pretend to believe. After you've doe that, I want you to actually go an find what you think would be a suitably private place to enjoy yourselves, there are several nearby, I don't care if you do it alone or with other students.
"Once you've found that place, lie down at roll around a few minutes. You'll look ridiculous, but it's the only other way for you to actually test it. Just remember to keep an eye on the local plantlife, as you don't want to come back with hard to explain rashes. Then tidy yourself up, come back here and give me your excuse for why you were away from camp."
